5.                  Battery System – We will be using a 1400 series rechargeable battery in the vehicles.  Batteries must be taped together to prevent separation.  It is recommended that they are available for easy access, and zipper-tied to the left side of the vehicle.

6.                  Differential – All cars in competition must use a differential.  Possible differential designs will be discussed during the next few weeks.

7.                  Drive train – All cars in competition must use a gear driven spur gear on a differential axle. All vehicles must be 2-wheel drive only. Rear axle size will not exceed 1/4” diameter.

8.                  Tires – Front and rear tires will be of foam material, mounted on 1/10 scale rims.

9.                  Body – All cars must resemble 1:10 scaled street stock, and can be fabricated or purchased.  It is the driver’s responsibility to purchase or fabricate the body.  The body must be securely fastened for competition.  All bodies must be painted.  Graphics and or pinstriping must be applied, per sponsor requests.  Car numbers must be clearly visible on both side doors of the car at a min. size of 1.75” high.  Roof numbers must be on the car at a min. size of 2.5” high. It is recommended that you purchase a servo saver to attach to your steering servo.  Springs may be used but shocks will not be used in the front suspension.
