Zachary DeBartolo

I am a senior at Middleburgh High School.  I have always had the dream of working in the engineering field; to some day become an aeronautical engineer for NASA., and to operate the space shuttle.

All the Engineering classes I have taken at Middleburgh have brought me one step closer to my dream.  By overcoming the many problems associated with engineering I have been able to become very successful in all the challenges I have been given to overcome. I hope with all the support I have behind me to not only be successful in this challenge, but also in all of the other challenges I will someday face in me journey to reach for the stare and their creator.

Casting Crown Racing

Sprint Car Project

Casting Crown Racing was given the exciting task of building 1/10 scale Sprint Cars. Our team members are overjoyed for being asked to build these mechanical machines. The cars must be electrically driven, and radio controlled. The teams racing engineers will have 15 weeks to design, engineer, and build the cars. Our class was broken into teams consisting of two racers, each of whom is responsible for building their own cars. Upon completion the cars will be raced at this years Technopalooza

on June 9, 2006.

I’m a senior student at Middleburgh High School. When I was told we were going to be building these 1/10-scale sprint cars I was really excited. I like cars and motorcycles. I drive a 1994 Ford Explorer. When I Graduate I want to go to the California Institute of Technology and then from they’re to a motorcycle college.
